The Arghoul is made of 2 pipes of unequal length, with only one melodic pipe with holes. The main pipe consists of 5 to 7 punctures, and segments of varying length can be added to the longer pipe to change the overall tonality and pitch of the instrument. Tar-coated string is used to hold together the pipes of the Arghoul.
